The Ashinaga Internship Program began in 2013 as an English teaching program for students in Japan and Uganda, enabling interns to acquire the problem-solving skills and adaptability needed in multicultural environments. Since then, the program has grown to encompass a variety of departments and functions. To date, we have had over 500 interns from over 90 global universities in several dozen countries.

For the past two years, we were unfortunately forced to cancel the Ashinaga Internship Program in Japan due to COVID-19. To adapt to the changing working styles at Ashinaga and continue the legacy of our internship program, we decided to conduct a remote internship in place of the Japan internship. Summer 2022 will be the third cycle of the remote internship program. Read more about our previous remote internship cycles here.
